Any of various one-celled aquatic of the order, able to change shape because of the movements of cell processes. Consists of a mass of protoplasm containing one or more nuclei surrounded by a flexible outer membrane.

Amoeba Management:

The success of any business relies on its people and its ability to adapt to change. This is why Calsoft practices an innovative management structure composed of small teams called Amoeba units, based on a system invented by Kyocera Corporation’s founder Dr. Kazuo Inamori.

Amoebas are teams of three to five members that focus on a particular product or service. Each amoeba has a unit leader who manages the team as its own business, while the other members collaborate as a team to reach its targets. The transparency of this program gives employees at all levels an opportunity to apply real-life business skills to their technical abilities. As part of an Amoeba unit, employees see the immediate impact of their effort and are transformed into business owners, which in turn, help them understand our customers.

Objectives of Amoeba Management
